Minister of Family Life Ministries
The mission of the Family Life Ministries is to encourage, equip and strengthen Christ-oriented singles, married couples, and families through Christian ministries and Godly counseling. Family Life Ministries consist of the following ministries:
The Mount Zion counseling ministry provides professional individual, premarital, marriage and family counseling to active members of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Crisis Counseling/consultation is available for inactive members and nonmembers.
All sessions are conducted by an ordained minister/licensed professional clinical counselor.

The Marriage Enrichment Ministry is committed to equipping couples with tools that will ensure a closer and more intimate relationship with God and their spouse. As married members of this Kingdom Focused Church, our ultimate goal is to provide opportunities for couples in covenant relationships that ensure biblical understanding of the precepts of marriage. We want to enable them to be able to actively enrich their covenant through Christian fellowship via their participation in various study series, workshops, couples’ outings, monthly meetings and outreach projects.

We focus on Spiritual Growth, Service, and Leadership Development through Bible Study and Fellowship Opportunities. We are accountable to God and one another as directed by the scriptures"
Senior Saints Ministry

The mission of the Mount Zion Senior Saints Ministry is to maintain a ministry that enables senior saints to more actively participate in church activities, provide assistance as needed, and create fellowship opportunities with our sick & shut-in and other seniors in the Christian community. The ministry actively engages in several fellowship opportunities throughout the year. We have an annual Spring Tea, Senior Cruise, and Elderly Information Sessions just to name a few. Our most notable activity is our visits to MZBC sick and shut-in's home to fellowship. The greatest impact of the ministry is its buddy system. Our buddies are the heart of the ministry.
Single Adult’s Ministry
The Mount Zion Single Adults’ Ministry provides an environment that encourages single adults to celebrate the gift of singleness, embrace their God given purpose, and serve those in the church and community with the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mount Zion singles are encouraged and empowered through Biblical study and Christian Fellowship.

The mission of the Daughters of Zion Women’s Ministry is to equip women to serve God with power and purpose; to edify God through praise and worship, biblical instruction and spiritual teachings; and to create a ministry of prayerful women whose individual lives are blessed, while enriching the Church body and God’s Kingdom in its entirety.
